Privacy policy
The short version. ScrollWars counts how many videos you scroll in Instagram, TikTok and TikTok Lite. It does not read what is on your screen. We store your counts, a few basic details about your phone and the app, and your email address only if you create an account. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.
Who we are
ScrollWars (the "app", "we", "us") is an entertainment app for Android that turns scrolling short videos into a game. You can reach us at privacy@scrollwars.app or support@scrollwars.app.
How the accessibility service is used
ScrollWars uses Android's AccessibilityService feature for one purpose only: to notice that you scrolled to the next video in Instagram, TikTok or TikTok Lite, so we can add it to your count.
- The service listens only to scroll events from those three apps.
- It is configured so that it cannot read the content of your screen. It does not see text, images, names, messages or what you type.
- It does not use scroll events for advertising, and it does not share them with anyone.
- You can switch it off at any time in Android Settings, Accessibility, Installed apps, ScrollWars, or use Banking mode inside the app.
What we collect

What we do not collect
- What you watch, like or comment on, or who you follow
- The text or images on your screen, messages, passwords or card details
- Your contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera
- Your location
- A list of the apps installed on your phone
- Advertising identifiers
How we use data
We use your data to run the game (counts, leaderboards), to let you sign in, to keep the app working and to understand how many people use it. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it for profiling.
Who processes data for us
- Supabase stores our database and handles sign-in.
- Resend delivers sign-in emails.
- Google handles sign-in if you choose "Sign in with Google".
- This website may be served by a hosting provider that records standard server logs, such as your IP address.
These providers process data only to provide their service to us. Your data may be stored on servers outside your country.
Leaderboards
Your name and reel count may be visible to other players on the leaderboards. Do not use your real name if you do not want it shown.
How long we keep data
We keep your account data while your account exists. Crash reports are kept only as long as we need them to fix problems. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it as described on our account deletion page.
Your choices and rights
- Turn the accessibility service off at any time.
- Ask us what data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it.
- Delete your account by following the steps on the account deletion page.
Children
ScrollWars is not intended for children under 13, and we ask people under 16 to wait until they are older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app, write to privacy@scrollwars.app and we will delete the account.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access rules so that each account can only reach its own records. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care to protect your data.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top and tell you in the app.
